Our verdict

A narrow, paper-first tool for shops that want printable routes and equipment due lists rather than a quality-system dashboard. Provisional 3.5/5 desk-research score; confirm output format and data safeguards before sensitive shop use.

Job Traveler: paper packets for the shop

Job Traveler at getjobtraveler.com is a browser document tool for process travelers and calibration due lists. It is not the recruitment business with a similar name. The official pages focus on a printed packet that follows the part through operations, with job identity, revision, material context, inspection flags and signature lines.

Build a route, then print a packet

The public sample form is preloaded with an example housing job and six operations. Fields include step, operation, work center, specification, inspection status and notes. CSV import is advertised for these columns, with optional job header fields. We did not upload a file or generate a packet. Paid access also advertises saved jobs, edits and re-downloads.

A due list, not a certificate

The equipment list covers names, serial or asset numbers, location, calibration due dates and notes. The advertised one-page PDF puts overdue equipment first, followed by items due within 30 days and then the rest. Missing dates are visible as NO DATE. This does not prove a gage is calibrated or in tolerance. The lab report, customer requirements and your own procedures remain separate.

Price and first-month refund

The subscription is advertised at $29 per month in USD, billed through Stripe. It includes full unwatermarked PDFs, saved jobs and the calibration due list. A no-account sample is available, but it is watermarked and truncated, not full free access. The first charge has a 30-day refund policy: email the operator from the subscribed address and include the receipt email. Later months are normally not prorated; cancellation keeps access through the paid period.

Ashley Richmond’s editorial view

I’d consider it for a small shop that wants consistent paper routes without buying a broader quality platform. The narrow scope and clear refund terms are useful. It is not a substitute for a certified QMS, and its operator explicitly describes it as an experiment. The provisional 3.5/5 score reflects desk research, not output testing or a reliability audit.

Desk-research disclosure: Official pages and launch context reviewed September 30, 2026. No account, upload, generated PDF, paid access or purchase. Any public sample UI images show vendor-preloaded example data, not our production work. Jesse Adams is named as operator; company, founder, year and headquarters are not established. No ISO, AS9100 or ITAR compliance is claimed. Avoid export-controlled, classified or confidential third-party data.

Who it's for

Best for

  • Small shops or labs evaluating printable process packets and simple calibration due-date wall lists.

Not ideal for

  • Certified QMS procurement
  • export-controlled technical data
  • calibration certificates
  • audits or full ERP scheduling.

How we tested

Ashley Richmond desk research September 30, 2026. Exact Product Hunt launch/review pages identify getjobtraveler.com; not the German recruiting job-traveler.com. Official homepage/pricing/sample form/calibration explainer/privacy/terms/refund reviewed. No account, CSV upload, generation, job or equipment write, Stripe checkout or paid UI access. Sample form shows the vendor-preloaded example, not our production data. Public read-only captures: header form view as hero and the genuinely distinct operations/CSV-controls view as gallery; the calibration-calendar page is an explainer, not UI, and PDF output is not UI - neither used. Logo is the official site SVG icon rendered to PNG and pixel-inspected. Jesse Adams is the explicit operator, not founder/company proof; company/founder/year/HQ/team blank. The vendor calls it a Grok Bot Heavy experiment; that does not establish AI runtime features, so no AI category/claims. Certification/compliance claims NOT made: not a QMS, no ISO/AS9100/ITAR. Privacy says hashed password, Stripe IDs, saved job/equipment database, deletion of job/gage, server IP logs, no ad pixels/marketing mail; not independently audited, no guaranteed backup retention inferred. Free sample limited, not a full free plan/trial; single USD 29 monthly tier; first-month 30-day refund is verified public policy. No reviews/awards/ratings aggregated.
