Our verdict

Arsaze is the closest thing to Cursor for video: a real multi-track editor where Claude, ChatGPT or Grok can drive the same timeline you do, with text-based editing, a full grading stack and frame-accurate client review. The complete editor is free, desktop exports are free forever, and per-plan limits are published in plain sight.

Arsaze: Cursor for video editing

Arsaze is a real multi-track video editor – unlimited tracks, keyframes, transitions, grading – that your AI assistant can drive. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Grok over MCP and the agent’s tool calls play back live on the same timeline you edit by hand. Every edit is auto-versioned, so handing over the controls is never one-way.

Four power tools, one timeline

Rewrite transcribes every clip and lets you cut by deleting sentences. Playground chains AI image and video models into reusable node graphs. Color is a full grading stack with shot matching and .cube LUT import. Remarker gives clients frame-accurate, threaded review links – and the agent can read the notes and make the fixes. A code-to-video engine renders title cards and motion graphics alongside the footage.

Pricing in rupees, exports free

The free plan includes the complete editor – no editing feature is tier-locked – plus 50 welcome AI credits for audio analysis. Paid plans run INR 490 (Basic), 2,450 (Pro) and 9,800 (Studio) per month, billed via Razorpay, scaling credits, cloud rendering hours and storage. Top-up credits never expire, and the Windows desktop app renders exports locally, unlimited and watermark-free.

Read the training clause

One tension worth knowing: the FAQ says your footage is not used for training without consent, but the Terms of Service permit Arsaze to train its own models on AI-generated content stored more than 3 days – raw uploads are never used. Raw footage is safe under both readings; generated content is where they diverge. The vendor is Sidhilynx, an MSME-registered startup in Chennai.

Ashley Richmond’s editorial view

The most credible agent-native editing workflow I have seen at this price, with honest limits and free local exports. Check the ToS clause, then try the free plan on a real project. The provisional desk-research score is 4.2/5.

Desk-research disclosure: Official pages reviewed September 30, 2026. No account, no uploads, no purchase. Generation-model claims and versioning behavior are vendor-stated; the training-clause tension is quoted from the vendor’s own FAQ and ToS.

Who it's for

Best for

  • Video creators and editors who want a real NLE their AI assistant can drive - text-based editing
  • grading
  • client review and generation on one timeline
  • with free local exports.

Not ideal for

  • Teams needing USD/EUR billing or enterprise procurement today
  • buyers uncomfortable with the ToS training clause on generated content
  • or editors wanting a mature vendor with a long track record.

Key features

Agent-editable timeline
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Grok as an MCP connector and the agent drives the same multi-track timeline you edit by hand - tool calls play back live in the editor. Gemini is referenced in vendor marketing; supported connectors today are Claude, ChatGPT and Grok.
Rewrite: text-based editing
Every clip is transcribed word by word. Delete a sentence and the cut happens: find retakes, strip filler words and shorten pauses from the transcript.
Playground: generation node editor
Chain prompts and AI image/video models into reusable graphs and drop results straight onto the timeline.
Color: full grading stack
Keyer, shot match, wheels, curves, HSL qualifiers and film-stock LUTs - non-destructive, per shot, rendered on export; import your own .cube files.
Remarker: frame-accurate review
Share a link; clients pin comments to the exact frame and version, reply in threads and rate scenes - and the agent can read the notes and make fixes.
Dual render engines
A real-time multi-track timeline plus code-to-video rendering for title cards and motion graphics in the same project.
Generation on the timeline
AI video, image, voice and music generation from frontier models in one credit balance on paid plans.
Free desktop exports
The Windows app renders exports locally - unlimited, no watermark, never consuming cloud rendering hours. FCPXML export opens in DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro.

Key benefits

  • One timeline for you and your agent: hand the controls to Claude or ChatGPT, take them back anytime - every edit is versioned automatically.
  • A complete editor with no feature locked to a tier; only credits, rendering hours and storage scale with price.
  • Free exports forever: the Windows desktop app renders locally with no watermark and no meter.
  • Transparent limits per plan (credits, cloud rendering hours, projects, review links) published in a full grid.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Genuine agent integration: MCP connectors for Claude, ChatGPT and Grok with live tool-call playback - not a chatbot bolted on.
  • Full NLE feature set free: editing features are never tier-locked; the free plan includes the complete editor plus 50 welcome credits.
  • Free unlimited desktop exports with no watermark - rare at this price point (paid plans from INR 490/mo).
  • Published legal footing: Sidhilynx (MSME-registered, Chennai), terms, privacy policy and support emails on site.

Cons

  • Training-clause tension: the FAQ says your footage is not used for training without consent, but the ToS says AI-GENERATED content may train Arsaze's own models after 3 days (raw uploads never). Read the terms before sensitive work.
  • Prices are in INR only; no USD/EUR display, and billing runs through Razorpay.
  • Young product from a small MSME-registered startup; no founding year or named founders published.
  • Free-plan AI is limited to audio analysis - generation, the AI assistant and background removal need a paid plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is Arsaze free?
Yes: the free plan includes the complete editor plus 50 one-time welcome AI credits for audio analysis. Paid plans start at INR 490/mo (Basic), then Pro at INR 2,450 and Studio at INR 9,800, billed monthly via Razorpay. Exports from the Windows desktop app are always free with no watermark.
Which AI assistants can edit my timeline?
Claude, ChatGPT and Grok are supported today over MCP - you add Arsaze as a custom connector and its tool calls play back live in your editor. Vendor marketing also references Gemini; the FAQ lists the three above.
Is Arsaze a real editor or just an AI tool?
A real multi-track NLE: unlimited tracks, frame-accurate trims, keyframes, transitions, a full grading stack, text-based editing and client review - plus AI generation and agent control on top. The vendor says no editing feature is locked to a tier.
Does Arsaze train on my videos?
Two vendor statements to read together: the FAQ says your uploads and generated video are not used for training without your consent, while the Terms of Service say AI-generated content may be used to train Arsaze's own models after 3 days in storage (raw uploaded files are never used). Raw footage is protected in both readings; generated content is where the statements diverge.
Who makes Arsaze?
Sidhilynx, an MSME-registered startup based in Chennai, India, per the Terms of Service. Contact emails include support@arsaze.com and hello@arsaze.com. No founding year or named founders are published.
Can I get my projects out?
Yes: export MP4 anytime, or export FCPXML that opens in DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro with cuts, transitions and captions intact. Every edit is auto-versioned, so agent mistakes can be rolled back.
