Southeast Industrial Equipment is a second-generation family-owned business. CEO Steve Thorne purchased SIE from JM Family Enterprises, Inc. in 1994, after 27 years of experience in the material handling equipment industry and three years as president. After several years of great expansion, Steve handed over the firm to his son and daughter, Cory Thorne and BJ Thorne, who serve as President and Vice President, respectively. Under Cory’s guidance, SIE has grown to become the leading supplier of quality equipment and supplies, as well as exceptional services, in the materials handling industry.
